Enjoying the rain we have randomly been on the receiving end of recently, particularly since it is thunderstorms and not worrying too much if tornadoes were going to pop up. Humidity that it brings, on the other hand, what can one say other than one doesn't do humid well or heat for that matter. One does enjoy all the seasons and look forward to each one, just that some are easier on our comfort zone.

Talked to a friend from high school couple nights ago, she had some exciting news to share. She is one of those friends that we immediately say our greetings and laughter begins...one always know that it is going to be a fun filled conversation. She is one of most generous, kind hearted, faith filled people I know. Congratulations BMA! Looking forward to seeing and hearing more about your continued and well earned achievements and successes. Life long friends are such a blessing.
The hummingbirds, along with so many other types of birds fill the yard with their flights of fancy, along with the squirrels, rabbits running to and fro. Once in awhile will see a random raccoon in the yard, or a deer running, leaping through the field across the road during the twilight hours. Occasionally, a skunk or opossum show up after sunset, but thankfully that is a very rare occurrence.Skunks and their ominous odor don't sit well with my olfactory. Benefits of life in a rural community.
Wheat harvest has come and gone. Soon the corn fields will be harvested. The fields that once held the wheat and corn will be plowed and ready for planting new crops. Grateful for farmers and ranchers for they provide sustenance in this world we live.
